Damn, a lot has changed. Basically all has changed. I no longer work at foodora. It’s a shame. It was quite fun working with colleagues that became your daily friends. Months after I left I still said things like “at foodora, we did not…” or that I worked for foodora. It is a strange feeling leaving a place where you are actually comfortable for something totally new and different. Well, kind of different; still it is a Rocket Internet company.
I had to step up. What I have learned since I left foodora is invaluable. I took ownership in topics that I have never worked before; mostly Product Management roles. I found out I like it. More than CRM. Being the one thinking about how the product is and what capabilities you offer is something that CRM can compare. Still, I like communication and marketing so CRM is quite in between Tech and Marketing. Not bad.
Some people have left my area. What a pity. I guess, it is okay.
I am realising that there is no actual point for this article. I am just writing because I logged in to update plugins. Well, maybe I do have a point. It is something that I get reminded every single day: people are basically stupid.
That will make me lose a job at some point.
